Sleek and simple, Lark was handcrafted on the Indonesian island of Java from sustainable suar wood, harvested from a fast-growing subspecies of rain tree. Drawing on age-old wood burning techniques, it’s coated with several layers of a squid ink and shellac mixture, which is charred before drying to create a deep charcoal finish. With this striking black hue and its clean-lined, rounded shape, Lark is a natural addition to almost any space. Perfect when paired with a floating sofa in the living room, we also love it on its own making a strong statement in an entryway or hall.
